The Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) Oceania Chapter is delighted to present the “SCB Fiji 2014 Conference” in collaboration with The University of the South Pacific (USP) in Suva, Fiji. The overall conference will begin with 2 full days of workshops on the 7th and 8th of July and will lead into the Inter-Gress on the 9th to 11th July.
The conference is a conduit for gathering a mix of early career researchers to professionals leading in their respective areas as well as policy makers, resource managers and University students. During the SCB Fiji 2014 Conference, participants can expect to access the latest information on major issues affecting biodiversity from internationally renowned speakers as well as numerous symposia, concurrent sessions, workshops, short courses and a field trip.
It is also considered to be an important global venue for presenting and discussing new research in the area of conservation science and best practice.
